The Osaki OS-3D Pro Intelligent massage chair has a few unique features that you will not find in any other massage chair that Osaki offers. Osaki OS-3D Pro Intelligent Overview

This massage chair brings modern technology into whatever space you place your massage chair in and disguises it as normal recliner. Available in three colors black, brown and clay, the one we have here is the clay color. Its looks like a very unassuming recliner when not in use, but it offers an excellent massage and literally comes to life when you turn it on.

As noted in all of the other reviews, I am a stocky gentleman (6’2”, 280 lbs). I include this with every review since it’s a significant factor in you reading about my experience with this massage chair. If you are shorter, or smaller, you may have a completely different experience. This chair was a bit easier to fit into without any shoulder constraints, and a very comfortable chair.

When you first sit down…

This massage chair has a very nicely laid out remote. It was very easy to choose my program and get started. I turned it on and chose my program and raised the arm massagers by using a little button on each armrest. The backrest massage rollers started scanning my back, just as all Osaki massage chairs do to get a better picture of where I am at in the massage chair.

One point of note with this massage chair is that it has a really long massage stroke, the back massage reaches all the way down through the seat of the massage chair to the upper thigh. To me, it felt really strange to have a roller massage there. If you like that sort of thing then this is a great choice for you, for me it was a little too strange.

Hide Away Arms

This is a very convenient little feature that really makes this massage chair unique. When the massage chair is not in use the arm massagers are hiding in the chair when combined with the rotatable ottoman the chair ends up looking like a normal recliner so it more easily blends with normal furniture. The rotatable ottoman has an added benefit that no other chair can offer as well…

Calf Massage Rollers

The footrest of the Osaki OS-3D Pro Intelligent has massage rollers in the bottom to provide a roller massage to the soles of your feet. Not everyone likes the feeling of a massage roller on the feet though. This is why it doubles as a calf massage roller. Just rotate the footrest back into the leg rest and place your legs on top to get the full benefit of the massage roller on your calves. No other massage chair offers this. It is truly a remarkable addition.

End of the Massage

After the massage was over this chair didn’t recline me back up. The remote turned off and the chair just stayed put. After I turned the remote back on the massage chair reclined back up to make it easier for me to get out. Once I got out the armrests went back down and I folded up the leg ottoman so the chair looked like a normal recliner.
