Ogawa Active Supertrac vs Apex AP-Pro Lotus

*Please note that the Ogawa Active Supertrac Massage Chair has been discontinued!

The Ogawa Active Supertrac and the Apex AP-Pro Lotus have their fair share of similarities and differences. In this comparison we will cover the different aspects of each chair. We hope to make your massage chair buying experience as easy as possible.

Similarities

Both chairs feature zero gravity, heat, body scanning and body compressing airbag systems. They also both feature multiple levels of speed and intensity adjustment. Both chairs have features in the footrest to accommodate many different heights.

Massage Track

Ogawa has managed to take the best aspects of both the L-track and the S-track and combine them into one 43” Supertrac. The result is a massage that will run from your neck all the way down to your upper thigh. The uniform pressure is provided throughout the length of the track. The Ultra features a 32” S-Track that will still massage from your neck to your hips. An S-track follows the curvature of the human spine.

Air Compression Massage

28 Airbags are used in the Lotus to create a compression system all over your body. The lotus utilizes the airbags to create twisting features that feel like a body stretch. The Active has 56 airbags that can be found in the shoulder, arms, hands, legs and feet. The numbers are vastly different in the airbag count on these two chairs, but the size of the airbags is what plays a part. The total body coverage of each chair is fairly similar.

Negative Oxygen Ionization

This is a feature that is purely exclusive to the Apex AP-Pro Lotus. Located at the top of the shoulder massagers, this feature helps purify the air at the microscopic level and direct it at the users face. This technology is widely used throughout Asia and Japan and has numerous relaxation benefits.

Supertrac Uniq Function

This is a feature that is purely exclusive to the Ogawa Active Supertrac. Tap the UNIQ button and the massage chair will recline into a full lie down position. The SuperTrac then takes over to give you and intense glute massage. Many L-track massage chairs will not be able to massage your glutes in a complete lie down position.

Color Options

The Apex AP-Pro Lotus comes in three color options of black, brown and cream. The Ogawa Active comes in 4 different color options that fall into a very neutral category. They colors are black, cherry, chocolate and graphite.

Both chairs are going to give you a really good massage, but the Apex AP-Pro Lotus has a lot more features than the Ogawa Active Supertrac. In this comparison we focused on the features that are unique to the individual chair and similar between the two chairs.
