Cozzia EC-363E Massage Chair Review

We maintain strict editorial integrity in our writing and assessments. Our main goal with this review post is to educate the consumer to allow them to make the best purchase decision.

Out of all the Cozzia massage chairs I have had the good fortune of testing, the EC-363e is by far the most impressive. This chair has been outfitted with Zero gravity; body scanning technology which when combined provides you with a personalized full body massage experience with every use. While a bit narrow in the shoulders, this massage chair is still wider than the Osaki OS-4000T which it’s designed to compete with.

Overview

Overall the massage experience I received from the Cozzia EC-363e was impressive to the point of falling asleep numerous times, which in the massage chair world is a good thing. Like all Cozzia massage chairs, the remote was simple and easy to follow and had me starting my massage with the press of only a couple of buttons. For the price, this chair does have an impressive feature set that can easily compare with many massage chairs in the 5k+ range.

When you first sit down

As I have mentioned in several other reviews, I am a tall guy with broad shoulders, so having enough shoulder space to sit comfortably is important to me. When I first sat down, this chair was a bit snug, but after reclining into the zero gravity position I was much more comfortable. My shoulders had plenty of rooms, and I was very comfortable. I chose the “Relax” massage program for this particular experience and was happy to see that it lived up to its name.

Air Pressure System

The air pressure massage with this massage chair was perfect, just the right amount of pressure without hurting me or squeezing me out of the leg and armrest. It was perfect! The upholstery in the arm and leg ottomans was soft and smooth as well, so it was quite comfortable and contributed to the relaxing massage that this chair delivers.

Perfect in Zero Gravity

As mentioned above I was a little uncomfortable until I was in the zero gravity position. Once my shoulders weren’t cramped while I was laying back, this massage was one of the better ones I have experienced. The Cozzia EC-363e only offers one stage zero gravity.

A word on shipping

As with most massage chairs, I always recommend getting the white glove delivery unless you have a couple of strong friends to help you. Massage chairs require assembly and come in 1-3 very heavy boxes. They aren’t difficult to assemble if you follow instructions easily, but with a white glove delivery you won’t have to worry about any of that. We sometimes offer Free white glove delivery on certain models so keep an eye out for our sales!
